The Safari & Me Guide
The Basics
-
The currency used in Uganda is the Ugandan shilling (UGX).

The best time to visit Uganda is during the dry seasons, from June to August and from December to February, when wildlife is easier to spot due to animals congregating around water sources. However, the wet season, from March to May and from September to November, can also be a good time to visit for bird watching and fewer crowds. The best time to visit will depend on your priorities and interests, so it's a good idea to do some research and plan accordingly.
-
